Product Description
Chairside Space Maintainer Drop Wire Refills for your existing kit. A drop wire can be used when the patients permanent tooth has erupted, and they’ve already lost their primary second molar. A straight wire could potentially go down into the gum-line. A better option is to use the curved drop wire, which meets the mid-crown surface of the adjacent tooth. Wires Sold in packages of 10. Available in Wide and Narrow widths (see size guide image for corresponding band sizes). Because of Denovo’s high commitment to quality, all Crowns and Wires Are:
— ISO, CE and FDA Certified
— Autoclavable and Sterilizable
— Made with Surgical grade stainless steel
— Made in the USA
Denovo’s Chairside Space Maintainer System:
Based on the original Unitek™ design, fabricate a pediatric space maintainer appliance all while chairside. With a little practice the procedure only takes 15 to 20 minutes and also only requires one patient visit. Just fit a band size (choose from 39 full and half sizes) to the gap adjacent tooth, similarly size to the gap space by adjusting the wire length, crimp and cement. The kit does not include Cement but any glass ionomer will work.

Question: From what particular crown or band size do we use wide tubes or narrow tubes? Thank you
Answer: The bands sized 35 and larger all have wide tubes. The 2nd primary crowns size 5-7 and 1st permanent crowns size 3-7 all have wide tubes, which will use wide wires.
