It takes a bit longer than using a pre-contoured crown due to the customization required, but it assures a perfect fit for each individual case. Denovo crowns are available for molars and also anteriors in a range of sizes. Denovo also has “open” crowns – which provide the durability of a crown and the flexibility of a band (available via phone and email orders).
Molar Crowns
Similarly to the original Unitek SS Crowns, Denovo’s molar crowns feature straight wall construction for increased adaptability. 1st and 2nd Primary crowns are available in seven sizes per quadrant while 1st Permanent crowns are available in eight sizes per quadrant.
Anterior Crowns
Denovo Anterior Stainless Steel Crowns are available for Upper Centrals and Laterals, and Upper and Lower Cuspids. Available in 6 different sizes.
Open Crowns
Denovo’s Open Crowns have the strong support of a stainless steel crown while offering the ease of use of a band. The partial removal of the occlusial surface allows for the easy removal of the crown using a band removing instrument. The open crown wraps over the cusp tips for maximum retention and strength. These new crowns are ideal for Herbst™ appliances, expanders and a wide variety of fixed appliances. Finally the crowns offer exceptional anchor control over a band appliance.
