Chairside Space Maintainer Wires With Occlusal Rest Refills for your existing kit. To add extra strength (as needed) to the appliance, bend over and seat the occlusal rest in a groove cut into the distal marginal ridge of the tooth adjacent to the space. For added stability, a small amount of cement may be placed over the occlusal rest after seating.  Adds support to the appliance. Wires Sold in packages of 10. Denovo’s Chairside Space Maintainer System:

Based on the original Unitek™ design, fabricate a pediatric space maintainer appliance all while chairside. With a little practice the procedure only takes 15 to 20 minutes and also only requires one patient visit. Just fit a band size (choose from 39 full and half sizes) to the gap adjacent tooth, similarly size to the gap space by adjusting the wire length, crimp and cement. The kit does not include Cement but any glass ionomer will work.
